Dan Rawlings, a regular at The Meadows in Pennsylvania, has been racing at Northfield on Saturday nights the past month, where he has compiled some very nice driving stats, including a 232% "return on investment" coupled with a 24% winnning percentage, 44% "in the money" finishes and a UDRS of .333. Dan has racked up 6 wins, 3 seconds and two thirds in 25 drives.
It might be worthwhile to give him a look (and a few dollars) if he continues his Saturday night visits.
Just saying.

I agree with you on this one...Seems like Northfield's driver colony is so weak, whoever shows up here to drive from another track,is a instant superstar...Frank Harris is now the 1st or 2nd option for some decent trainers,At least when the Stahls and Merriman's are not around. The grass is getting greener everywhere, but Northfield Park. The Quality of stock is getting better everywhere, but Northfield park, the purses are getting better everywhere else, except Northfield park...If not for the fact that Northfied Park races year round, the trainers with family roots here, who have not left, would be gone to.As a life long Northfield patron,i'm not sure i'm not gone...I'm 53 years old,a couple of weeks ago when i went to the track during the week, there couldn't have been more than 20 people there, that were younger than me...Sad..
