In the last thirty days, Elliott Deaton has been on fire, both as a driver, with a .438 UDRS and a training UTRS of over .700. For those with long memories, Deaton has an exceptional training record for the Fall and Winter two seasons ago, with a UTRS of over .500... before he left for Hoosier.
It looks like he has brought some horses in from the minor tracks on the east coast (Dover Downs, Ocean City, etc.). Similarly, Ronnie Wrenn is bringing horses in from Michigan.
It always livens things up when we see some shippers coming in to Northfield.
