In tonight's (11/11) invitational we have an entry, #6 SS Two Sox that was claimed a couple months ago for $6,000. Can a 6 claimer compete successfully in the invite? History says it certainly is possible. Do we all remember Coastal Wind being claimed for that same $6,000. a few years ago, and going on to win the invite several times?
And then in recent memory there was Pacificam, also a low claimer (7's if I remember correctly) who ended up in the invite, making a credible showing, although not winning.
