Last night's 11th demonstrated why Greg Grismore is Northfield's leading driver. He put Tweedle D on the lead, slowed the pace, and stole the race. Andy Shetler with a better horse was content to sit the pocket (I hate it when that happens). The two of them sprinted away from the pack in the stretch.
Lifes Likearose was 3-1 last night, a pretty square mutuel for the best horse in the race (Rustina didn't show up). We can expect a similar or slightly higher price next week, and the view from here is that Shetler won't make the same mistake again, and assuming a favorable post, will have the horse in the lead where we will see her true abilities.
