Tonight features the Fillies and Mare edition of the late closing series.
1st Division- race 8: This race has me very intrigued- I keep leaning to the 1 Brookside Spirit- had a month off after running against some credible ones on the fair circuit. The race Sept 15th had a much better field than this and she looked competitive through 3/4s. Did not need to qualify but did- my thoughts- just to keep her tight and a confidence booster. Western Samantha appears to be for real and will be coming from way back. to round out my choices it is a toss up between Jayci Honey and a Toy to remember- A Toy To Remember last 2 lines leave me very leary as to whether this horse can handle this oval.
2nd Division Race 10: Magical Punkin will need to have racing luck to visit the green carpet. This mare has had a long season, but has continued to be competitive. The problem is she likes to be out front and is hard to handle and rate- the 9 hole is definately not a good one for her. The main contenders to look at in this race is Jessie Franco N &Kris Mouse Mindale if those two hook up early Punkins chances will improve drastically. Also keep an eye on Jo-Anne Jet- Elliot liked her enough to take an 8 hole horse over the 1 Kris Mouse Mindale
3rd Division race 12- Pretty Pacific- I don't think she will be beat the race will be for 2nd money between the 3 Doni's Bunny and 8 Angel on top.
As you may have noticed I have not commented on the Trot divisions either night- I very rarly play trots that are Nw's unless something stands out at me and the price is worth it to gamble some of those hard earned dollars. With that said take a look at the first race of the night Climatize a 6 yr old non raced Trotter passes horses at the start of the Qualifier and then closes to win on a sloppy track. The 6 year old non raced trotter caught my eye as Yogi once stated it's like Deja Vu all over again.- If this horse is anywhere over 3-1, You will see me at the windows.
