Macbus124 Chsbear Bobcat
On behalf of the other board administrators, please feel free to tell us something about your background in this thread, if you care to. We have a diverse membership from many different backgrounds with differing involvement with Northfield, either as fans, owners, trainers, drivers (as guests, so far), employees or just folks interested in harness racing.
We welcome your participation in our discussions and postings.

Thanks for the welcome, Trackrat. I'm from the northwest corner of NJ where NJ, NY, and PA meet. I'm about a 45 minute drive to Monticello or the Meadowlands, about 1 1/2 hrs to Pocono Downs, and about 3 hrs to Freehold ,Saratoga,Chester, and Tioga. I'm passionate about harness racing and follow as much of the goings on nationally as I have time for. Northfield is one of my favorite simulcast tracks. Your track announcer is awesome! His wit is so dry he might blow away. I'm mid fifties and have lots of friends that either own or train standardbreds. I also live just a fifteen minute drive from the Harness Racing Hall of Fame in Goshen, NY (Trot Town USA), a very nice trip if your into the whole history of the sport (make sure to visit Greyhound's grave and pay your respects). I really like the feeling of this board, we have nothing like it that I know of. Thanks again, and Happy Holidays everyone.
