Now I know I've been away a few months, but from what little I've been able to follow it sure looked like Merriman couldn't get a favorite home to save his life (ala Manzi at Freehold). Now enter a certain Mr. Miller and all of a sudden Aaron wakes up and drives like he always could. I had gotten to tossing his horses at even money or better, now it seems I have to use them again. Anybody else notice this or is it my imagination?

You are correct , Merriman has been re-awakened with the arrival of Miller.
Quick question...did Ohio move the clock's ahead last weekend ?

So much for my great powers of observation as Merriman goes 0-14 last night. As for former rival Grismore: Yonkers, NY --- Greg Grismore, quickly making a name for himself since relocating from Ohio, relocated to the winner's circle five times during Wednesday night's (March 14) 13-race program at Yonkers Raceway. Grismore, who had just seven drives, began the proceedings with Petey's Tweety ($24.60) in the $8,000 pacing opener. He then won the $8,000 seventh race trot with the aptly-named Seven Habits ($6.20), the $6,500, eighth race pace with Rustina ($8.00), the $9,500, ninth race pace with Tussy Mussy ($13.40) and the $8,000, 11th race pace with 17-1 Joyous Classic ($36.80). Other bombadiers of note were Mike Sorentino, Jr., who escorted It's Decision Time to a 40-1 ($83.50) victory in the $5,000, sixth race pace and 7-1 Blu Meadow Tara ($16.40) in the $5,000, fourth race pace; and Larry Stalbaum, who sat behind I Need New Nykes' $64.50 surprise in the $6,500, 10th race pace as well as 8-1 Fancy Muffler ($19.00) in the $4,000, third race pace. Veteran driver Rejean Daigneault ended a 56-race seasonal schneid when Great Thunder ($14.20) was a come from behind winner in the $9,500 fifth race trot. Live racing is currently offered at Yonkers with six programs per week -- Monday through Saturday -- at 7:40 p.m. The '07 stakes schedule continues Friday night, with four $12,500 divisions in the third and final preliminary round of the Petticoat Pacing Series. from the USTA website
